Kane Trimble of Trimble Constructions was our builder of choice on two separate occasions to improve our family home, and we are thrilled we used his company!

We chose Kane for several reasons, given his:

  • solid local reputation and industry knowledge;  
  • very competitive costings;  
  • great network of professional tradespeople to call on;
  • relationships and ability to liaise with planners, surveyors, designers etc;  
  • impressive understanding of what we hoped to achieve and insights in how to best to do so; and
  • great communication skills.   
 
We were also drawn to Kane’s friendly, no nonsense and ‘can-do’ nature. Importantly, we felt he’d be someone we could trust with our home and get along well with. 
All of these qualities and skills were always evident ‘on the ground’ throughout both projects. The first project was a new extension building a second bathroom, external decking area, and internal structural changes to ensure a seamless finish with our existing house.  We were absolutely delighted with the final result, and so impressed with the attention to detail and very high standards set and delivered by Kane and his team.  

We were also grateful for Kane’s flexibility and accommodation of our minor design changes along the way – he always showed patience, commonsense and a focus on solving problems quickly and practically.  The project was delivered and signed off within agreed timelines.

The great result of the first project prompted our second one six months later, to upgrade our main existing bathroom and vanity area.  We again saw an excellent team, led and skilfully project managed by Kane, bring us a fantastic finish.  On several occasions Kane personally went well out of his way to try and accommodate our minor changes and we were grateful for his commitment to deliver another quality, high spec professional result! 

We would now only use Trimble Constructions for any build – big or small – we might have – be it at our current home or into the future.  We highly recommend Kane Trimble to anyone seeking a sensational building result from a highly skilled, professional and super friendly person leading a great small company that takes pride in its work.

We were very impressed with Kane and his team of tradespeople. The quality, reliability and professionalism they displayed was everything you’d expect from a local builder.

From the onset, Kane always made himself available to support and guide us through the initial planning and permit stages. This communication and engagement quickly built our trust and confidence that we were partnering with a builder that wanted to help us achieve our home renovation goals.

Once the formalities and detail of the contract were agreed, Kane and his team were reliable in starting on-time, and kept to the agreed build schedule. Being a renovation, there is always those unplanned items or changes you need to make. Kane and his team were always accommodating to advise and agree the best course of action that balanced quality workmanship and budget.

The end result of our renovations exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and quality workmanship is very apparent. Even after the build was complete, Kane and his team have been there to fix any minor defects or problems to ensure the quality workmanship is maintained.

We chose Kane to work with us to create a master suite extension to our home as he understood the style we wanted to achieve.

We also engaged him to create an entertaining deck on the opposite end of the home which was built very quickly and has added an outdoor room that is used all year round.

Kane and his team quickly establish a rapport ensuring that workflow and decision making was a simple and comfortable experience for us.

He always kept us abreast of changes and included us in all the decision making.

We always knew when members of the team would  be onsite and timelines were realistic . The boys were tidy and respectful and the building site was maintained daily making living with an extension  build not stressful.

Kane has an exceptional relationship with suppliers within the district and ensured that we were looked after.

It was a true pleasure to have Trimble Constructions build our house and we can't speak highly enough of his team.

Kane and his team built our extension in Wheatsheaf in the middle of the Pandemic (with us stuck in Melbourne). But throughout, Trimble Constructions were encouraging, creative and always professional.
 
Every time we encountered a problem they helped us find the best solution. And above all else, Kane made sure our house was built within schedule and budget.
He kept us in the loop on all decisions and always consulted us even for small/minor changes.

We chose Trimble Constructions on a recommendation from our architect, and we could not have been more pleased.

We have recently had completed the renovation of an historic old church with a newly built extension.

We chose Trimble Constructions on a recommendation from our architect, and we could not have been more pleased. The entire process was so much easier that we had anticipated especially since we were not able to visit the building site often because we were overseas or interstate and then of course Covid lockdowns had us rely on Kane Trimble to be our eyes and ears on site.

Kane was considerate of our budget and suggested several alternatives that enabled us to bring the project under budget.

 His team and contractors that he used were fantastic to have on the job, so careful and always with an eye to detail – nothing seemed too much trouble.

Since it was easy to develop a relationship with Kane and the team based on mutual trust, we found the project to be virtually stress free.

As a result, we have a beautifully restored historic church and a contemporary addition which complements the 150-year-old building that now stands proud again, front and centre, on our property.

Kane and the team at Trimble did an amazing job for us on a complete renovation of our property that dates in parts back to the 1850's.

From contracts through to handover the communication was clear, honest and transparent. Any issues or potential issues were detected quickly and communicated and practical solutions found.

Kane and his team completed the build of our new house. The build itself was unique and complicated as it was an underground home.

We hit new unforeseen issues every other week, but Kane as his team managed these effectively and efficiently, coming up with solutions and managing to stay on schedule and within budget while also keeping us in the loop. They really stepped up and helped to manage the entire project when we were unable to even get to the property ourselves due to the pandemic.

They made the entire process so simple; I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them. I cannot thank them enough for all their help. Would highly recommend!
